Why, oh why, do some ISPs lock up your router/modem and hide your own details in it? money thats why. Anyhow Sky users have a small problem its known that if you firmware update the modem or use a none-Sky branded firmware you lose your password and then can't get back on the internet. Some people may want to change the router out of needs or the fact the old blew up, dog ate it, Soviet espionage etc. and you need that pass, well thankfully the solution is here :
Sky router password generator
It seems the passwords are a variation on the information on the bottom of the router (LAN MAC & Serial or WPA default key)
The info covers the Netgear DG834GT, the Netgear DG934G and the Sagem F@ST 2504
This info will only allow you to recover your ADSL user name and pass.
A guide on using a none Sky,Tiscali,AOL,Virgin Media router with these services will be done soon.. one day.. maybe :p
