Not even going to get into this, the UK lags far behind in terms of anything telecom related. According to this "SuperFast" or as these idiots call it "SuperBand" access is 25Mb now considering BT claim they have to rewire the whole country to even get us close to this and are and have been dragging there feet for as long as they can about, im seriously not holding out on this. I really wanted BPL, the structures there, the costs are low and the speeds great. (Link at bottom) The planned "2mb for every family" and the "computers for poor" programmes both being failures too.
Exclusive leaked picture of new "SuperBand" modem as according to UK goverment spec:

"Point Topic defines superfast broadband as connections with download speeds of 25Mbps and above at mass-market prices. It was initially scheduled to roll out to over two million homes by the end of 2010 but that figure is far off, with coverage of less than one per cent so far."
