People who use Internet Explorer (yes there are still 2 or 3) will be given a choice over which browser they want they use (???) from 1st March. This is due to the agreement between M$ that EU competition thingy. Apprantly by way of a update the user will be prompted to decided which pill to take... sorry browser. Of course 99% of them will just click IE as its allready there and they can't be arsed with installing another... typical IE user so thats the end of that, this only applies in the EU so I don't think M$ really care too much :)
Some picture we can take p*ss out of :
Another M$ failure, irrelevant to article so we put it up anyhow :)
"The software update choice will arrive automatically for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 customers, according to a blog post by Dave Heiner, Microsoft's vice president and deputy general counsel. The blog also contains screen grabs of the message as it will appear."Users who get the choice screen will be free to choose any browser or stick with the browser they have, as they prefer," wrote Mr Heiner.
Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera are the alternative browsers that people will be offered."
