Alas! me hartys TeH failure of a greetl33tness has washed upon ye shore's (or something)

Pirate Party UK loosely based on the, I think Dutch one (although they actually seem to have done something), only managed to pick up just over 1,100 votes :( a sad day for anti-copyright activists, but really what was they expecting some kind of  mass turn out over downloads? Theres bigger issues about right now. I do agree with some of what they say though, since I tend to hate any and all authorities though :) So maybe next time.... ;)

Typical pirate (apparently)

PS: If you don't know who that is where was you in 1990s?

"The Pirate Party UK put in a dismal performance at the General Election last night, after its nine candidates garnered a total of just 1,127 votes between them with one result still to come in."

Travis McCreaWhen you are critiquing someone (or some group) you should probably at least spell correctly, and use proper grammar.

1,100 votes is a decent number of people. Can they do better next time? Yeah. However, this was the first run - Many parties do not succeed on their first run.

Congratulations to PPUK for their awesome first show.
