Microsoft says XP netbooks die on October 22 (also Service Pack 2 support ending)

Bit of not so important news, since no one actually cares and im pretty sure theres still people out there running XP even without any service packs (cash machines ;) ) Microsoft has decided the cut off date for OEMs shipping Windows XP on so called netbooks must stop, pricing issues more than anything, $15 for a OEM XP Vs $50 for a OEM Windows 7. Netbooks are now mostly more than capable of running Windows 7, not like the first generations which relied more on custom operating systems, or the 2nd/3rd generation netbooks relying on various Linux versions.

I want to support this :

Windows XP

Also according to the Microsoft EOL support list thingy Windows XP service pack 2 support ends 13th July 2010. Since Microsoft class each version as a seperate operating system for some unknown reason :/ I wonder if SP3 will see the support extenstions that were given to XP SP1 or even the very long period that was given to Windows 2000.
