Checking authenticity/integrity of Microsoft Windows & other Microsoft products

Found this usefull bit of information. Microsoft list the checksum of all of there products going back as far as I can see MS-Dos 6 & Windows 3.x uptil now, Windows XP & Windows 7 and everthing in between. This may be usefull if you want to verify that no one has meddled with a ISO/backup image of your Windows CD and its free from malware,virus,spyware or other crap, or for checking the orig. media to make sure nothings been added or taken away. I have even had a scratched Windows 2000 orig. CD that acted up odd and the checksum was different...
