Faulty Hitachi Freeview TV recorder thing, gutted for bits. For some odd reason it wont recognize the hard drive, yet the drive works fine. It's a SATA 500Gb Western Digital drive. Here are some pics taken of whats inside the unit, if that kind of thing gets you off. It's pretty sad state of affairs this things barely 2yrs old and is dead, sure I could attempt to fix it but its worthless anyhow, the drive may prove useful though :)

...

High res pics available if you click the pics 2000+  pixels wide though and pretty big 1Mb~ ish each.

* Quite strange message about how the device takes 1min+ to boot to save the environment?
* Whole unit showing the drive and stuff.
* ST Omega CPU something or other, the markings came out better on the other pics.
* Click the pic for the high res you can read the part numbers if that gets you off.
Some kind of connector, I wonder if we can hook that up to something ;)
